According to recent healthcare research 57% of employees said they would be open to wearing an employer-paid fitness band during working hours to help monitor their health & wellbeing.
Among those respondents that were open to wearing a fitness band at work, 58% said they would be comfortable sharing the data generated with their employer if it helped with the organisation’s employee health & wellbeing programs.
The research also found that less than 5% of employers currently offer health care technology devices, such as Smart bands, to their employees.
The increased use of health technology within the workplace could so easily be a win-win for both employer and employee.
