(Digital programs are an extension of the services provided by EAP Assist & not a replacement for the personalized support & interventions provided by your EAP Assist counsellor).
Anxiety & Other Mental Health Issues
A comprehensive research based online digital platform for the assessment & treatment of anxiety & other mental health issues to enhance emotional wellbeing – making minds happier. You will first complete an Online Mental Health Assessment which will ask you questions about yourself, various physical & emotional symptoms you may be experiencing & how these affect your life & will take around 30 minutes to complete. After completing your assessment a counsellor will review your answers & prepare a written report summarising your key symptoms & providing a range of treatment options to help you learn about your symptoms & learn proven skills to manage your emotional wellbeing & improve your quality of life, delivered in a structured manner, over an eight-week period.
Depression & Other Mental Health Issues
A personalised self-help tool for depression & other mental health issues. Learn new ways to deal with thoughts, feelings & behaviours that cause you trouble. You will have a tool-kit of strategies to use when you need them. Best results are seen with active use for a minimum of seven weeks. When used correctly, this program enables lasting improvements to mood, anxiety & stress levels. The program has 14 interactive learning activities, each include up to three 10 – 15 minute sessions that you can complete in your own time. You’ll learn skills and strategies taught by doctors & psychologists to make positive changes in your life. You can start by taking the Depression & Anxiety screener to help you learn whether you have symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. The more symptoms an employee has, the more likely it is that he or she is depressed or anxious.
Stress Management Program
All people experience stress from time to time. However, excessive or chronic stress can take a toll on your mental and physical health. Learning skills to manage your stress more effectively can be beneficial when you are overwhelmed by stress. Excessive stress occurs when you perceive that you do not have the resources to cope with the demands in your life. Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) is a valuable approach to stress management. This program involves learning how to reduce your demands & increase your resources to help you manage the stressors in your life. A large emphasis is placed on active coping. This is all about doing something to change your situation, get extra help or support yourself through the difficult time. This course is designed for people who are experiencing acute or chronic stress related to life demands, such as work.
Posttraumatic Stress Program
The Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Program is designed to help you understand and manage symptoms of post-traumatic stress & helps you to learn how to change the unhelpful thoughts & beliefs maintaining PTSD. It can also teach you useful distraction & relaxation techniques, and ways to reduce stress or physical symptoms. This program is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & has twelve modules that you can do in your own time. It provides information about PTSD and helps you to understand why it develops. It introduces the skills & strategies that can help you to: Identify the symptoms of PTSD, learn relaxation techniques including progressive muscle relaxation, gain control of physical reactions, learn how to change any unhelpful thoughts & beliefs maintaining PTSD & plan to maintain your mental health gains after the course.
Obsessive & Compulsive Program
The obsessive & compulsive program aims to help adults to manage obsessions & compulsions by breaking unhelpful habits & learning core psychological skills. The program helps employees how to recognise the cycle of symptoms involved in OCD, how to recognise & challenge unhelpful thoughts & beliefs, how to overcome compulsions, how to gain confidence by learning to safely confront things you have been avoiding & how to stay well once the course has finished. You can choose to receive weekly therapist support during the program or you can choose to make contact when you need to do so. It is recommended that you have at least four hours a week to spend working on the program & practising the skills.
Insomnia Program
Do you have trouble sleeping or staying asleep? Are you unsatisfied with the quality or quantity of your sleep? You may be experiencing insomnia. Insomnia is the most common sleep complaint and involves being concerned about initiating and/or maintaining sleep.
You Start with a free comprehensive online psychological self-assessment giving you more information about your mental health and recommend your next steps. In this program you will learn Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) skills to help manage your insomnia. CBT is the recommended, first-line treatment for chronic insomnia. The treatment involves a 12-week evidence-based program which you can complete at your own pace. During the program you have access to support from a trained Therapist.
Eating Disorder & Body Image Program
Support for anyone concerned by an eating disorder or body image issue. Eating disorders are all different & the counselling team are able to provide personalised support. Talk, chat or email with counsellors experienced in supporting people affected by an eating disorder with information, counselling & guidance on treatment options. If you’re not sure exactly what you need, but know you want to reach out about what is happening with you or someone else in relation to body image, disordered eating or an eating disorder, you are welcome to connect with us. Providing confidential support for people with eating disorders & people with body image issues as well as to their partners, family & supportive others.
Young Person’s Anxiety Program
An interactive, online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) program for the prevention & treatment of childhood & adolescent anxiety. The program provides opportunities for young people to learn new ways to manage their anxiety & fears. The program treats & prevents anxiety in children & teenagers, specifically those with social anxiety, separation anxiety, generalised anxiety & specific phobia. The program also has designated sessions for parents allowing them to better understand & manage their child’s anxiety. Each of the child, teen & parent programs can be completed individually; however, for many families the best results can be seen when the young person & their parents are doing the programs at the same time. Participants can choose either a Self-Help Program or an Online Therapist Program.
Suicide Awareness & Prevention Program
A national 24/7 telehealth that offers professional phone & online counselling to assist with suicide-related issues. Phone & online counselling is seen by many to be a helpful alternative to traditional face-to-face counselling because of its less confronting approach. Professionally trained counsellors have specialist skills in working with suicide-related issues & they can help you to work through the pain & distress you may be feeling. The counsellor will help you with goal planning, ensuring your own safety & help to link you to other services in the community. All staff managing our telephone or online counselling services are qualified professional counsellors, social workers or psychologists. Help is provided to anyone who is feeling suicidal, caring for someone who is feeling suicidal or anyone who has lost someone to suicide.
Grief & Bereavement Program
Responsive, evidence-based & personalised telephone & online grief counselling for individuals & families confronted with loss to help them express their feelings & experiences. Many people often find the best way to deal with their emotions & feelings is to share them. Accepting the reality of the loss of someone or something we love & value can be challenging. Support may be provided for issues including death, suicide, terminal illness, natural disasters & pet loss. The aim being to listen, care & support those experiencing loss & grief at any stage in life and to strengthen people & communities through counselling support & confidence building.
Drug & Alcohol Program
Access to phone or chat by text with professional drug & alcohol counsellors who work from the individual’s identified needs & help assess their situation, provide information & support & provide referral options to make informed choices. Support includes self-assessments, that will help determine if your current drinking, drug use or psychological health is at risky levels, provide easy to follow self-help modules designed to assist you to make a start by helping you set goals and identify values that are important to you & an online Community Forum, a safe place where you can connect with other affected by drug & alcohol problems & get support & learn new ways to recover.
Gambling Program
An online Gambling Program allowing anyone affected by gambling to connect with a skilled gambling counsellor at any time & to access a range of services including chat sessions, self-help modules & the peer to peer forums. If gambling is impacting on the quality of your life, such as affecting your financial situation or interpersonal relationships, get help now. The stigma associated with gambling problems might make it difficult to seek help but speaking to a professional online can make that step feel less daunting. One of the great advantages of online counselling is how convenient & flexible it can be. You can start a session anywhere, anytime as long as you have a device that can connect to the internet.
Anger Management & Relationships Program
Access for men to qualified counsellors, via phone or online, specialised in family and relationship issues, including anger management, relationship breakdown, separation & divorce, parenting, family violence, suicide prevention & emotional well-being. Counselling is a conversation between a trained mental health professional & someone who wants to talk about their worries & concerns, and/or work through their mental & social health issues. All staff managing telephone or online counselling services are qualified professional counsellors, social workers or psychologists, trained to follow a contextual counselling & problem-solving process to listen, understand you & help you find ways to feel better.
Domestic Violence Program
Access to telephone & online counselling with a trained counsellor who will listen & support you in what feels right for you & your situation as everyone’s experience of domestic, family or sexual violence is different. Support can help you to understand if what you are going through is domestic, family or sexual violence, talk about ways to improve your safety, explain the different sorts of services & support available to you & help with things you may be worried about, such as: what will I do about money, a place to live, children & employment, if you leave.
Dietary & Exercise Program
A confidential phone coaching service that provides information & support for employees to make healthy lifestyle changes, including healthy eating, being physically active & achieving & maintaining a healthy weight as well as alcohol reduction. The service offers coaching calls with a personal health coach providing information & practical tips on topics such as healthy eating & being physically active. It is all about following a structured plan & taking small steps towards healthier behaviours. Coaches include dieticians, exercise physiologists, nurses, diabetes educators, occupational therapists, midwives & maternal child health nurses, each one skilled in sharing practical tools & strategies to achieve goals like improved physical activity & good nutrition.
Quit Smoking Program
This quit smoking program provides you with a personalised quitting plan. It creates this plan based on your responses to questions about your motivation, confidence and past attempts. It is designed to provide useful advice wherever you are on your quitting journey. This program has helped thousands to achieve their goal of becoming a non-smoker & research has shown that it increases your chances of quitting. Quitting smoking is a process that can take time. The program works best if you return and review your situation when things have changed e.g. after you quit. The program then asks questions relevant to your current situation and will adjust your quitting plan to reflect the progress you have made. It can also help you to recover if things don’t go to plan.
Pain Management Program
An online pain management program helping employees with chronic pain to manage the impact of pain on their day-to-day life & their emotional wellbeing. The program is not designed to ‘cure’ pain but to help people manage pain & maintain a good quality of life despite pain. The program provides information and practical skills similar to that of a specialist pain management clinic, including help to Understand chronic pain and how it differs from acute pain, recognise the cycle of symptoms involved in pain, anxiety and depression, break the cycle of symptoms, recognise and challenge unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, manage levels of day-to-day physical activity safely and confidently, despite pain & continue to manage your pain and emotional wellbeing once the course has finished. You can also choose weekly therapist support during the program.
Debt Management Program
Information, support & advocacy to assist people in financial difficulty provided by financial counsellors. Financial counsellors have an extensive knowledge of a range of areas of law & policy, including consumer credit law, debt enforcement practices, the bankruptcy regime, industry hardship policies & government concession frameworks. From time to time, many people find themselves struggling to buy food, pay the rent or mortgage & can be juggling numerous debts. If you’re in this situation, a financial counsellor can help you understand your options so that you can get back on your feet.
Parenting Program
A Parenting Program where parents can learn how to guide their children through the challenging teenage years & explore any concerns they may have about their teenage children & create an action plan to see real results. This service can be either phone or online with expert coaches specialising in family & parenting support. Helping parents to support their teenage children through everyday issues & tough times. Sometimes parents need some support & if we can get our kids mentally healthy they are going to be much more resilient adults.
LGBTI Program
Access to webchat & telephone counselling for LGBTI individuals wanting to talk about a range of issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings & relationships. If you’re looking to connect with someone to explore what’s going on in your life experienced staff Australia-wide are available to chat or to take your call. Support is also available to individuals who may not be LGBTI but who want to talk about someone else they care about. There is also a referral database to a range of services & information to help LGBTI people of all ages from crisis support, physical & mental health matters, events & festivals, legal support & more.
Mindfulness Meditation Program
A Mindfulness training program that allows participants to develop a deeper understanding of the mind & a more accepting & compassionate relationship to their internal & external experiences. Mindfulness is a specialised skill in mental awareness, attention & acceptance that is associated with numerous health benefits. This program involves guided exercises, including meditation, to help individuals become aware of automatic patterns of thinking, feeling & behaving & learn to respond in more effective ways. The program is self-paced & is designed to be completed within 2 months.
Small Business Owners Program
The Small Business Owner Program is a purpose response to the mental health & wellbeing needs of small business owners. The program supports small business owners to take action on their own mental health & wellbeing & includes a digital platform (website & mobile application) that identifies specific needs & connects small business owners to tools, tips & e-health programs to improve their mental health & wellbeing. It is supported by a communication strategy, research & capacity building activities to mobilise the small business community & those that support them.
Work Well Employer’s Program
An online program which supports employers to promote employee mental health & wellbeing as well as to control risk from work factors associated with mental health & wellbeing. It offers tailored support, practical actions, simple steps & relevant resources. Initially you will be asked to answer 25 questions about your organisation so personalised suggestions can be deliver such as clear, tailored steps with videos, templates & case studies that have been proven to help businesses. The workplace is an ideal setting to promote mental health & wellbeing as employees spend one third of their time in the workplace & one in five Australians are expected to experience a mental health condition each year. By empowering employees to thrive, employers find that their employees are more committed to their organisation’s goals, build better relationships with their peers, are inclined to deliver more effort & are therefore more productive.
Workplace Advice Program
Workplace Advise provides access to free legal assistance to eligible individuals who require employment law advice. The advice maybe for unfair dismissal, general protections or other employment related matters. If eligible a free one hour appointment will be arranged with a qualified lawyer from a law firm, Community Legal Centre or Legal Aid Commission to provide advice on the issues raised or likely to be raised as well as advice on drafting submissions & statement.
Women’s Legal Advice Program
EAP facilitates access to free legal services to women experiencing particular disadvantage to address legal issues arising from relationship breakdown or violence. Lawyers provide legal advice on matters including family law (such as property settlement and parenting arrangements), family violence (intervention orders) and child protection matters.
Symptom Checker Program
Symptom Checker is an online tool for employees to check their symptoms & find trusted information & advice on what to do next. The final output of Symptom Checker includes a printout of the employee’s answers to the questions along with evidence-based self-care advice. With over 80% of employees seeking health information online & close to 40% looking for self-treatment online it is important that the information they are accessing is safe, relevant & trustworthy.
My Health Check Program
My Health Check Program provides a health assessment questionnaire identifying which zones of your lifestyle are contributing to your personal health risk & provide actions you can take to make positive change. My Health Life helps you manage your health with tools, information and recommendations tailored to you, it’s your personal and secure health dashboard. You can even Build up your dashboard with articles, tips & other great content based on your health interests or goals.
New Parents Program
Australia’s one-stop website supporting the mental health & emotional wellbeing of pregnant women, new mums & their families. Designed to connect you quickly with the level of support you need, from advice & support in the transition to parenthood, to effective online treatment programs for perinatal depression & anxiety. The online resources are evidence-based and have been evaluated in research studies conducted in Australia. Access supports suitable for all new parents, a little extra help when you need it. You never have to feel that you are alone.
Young Parents Program
A free online program for Australian parents and caregivers of children 2 to 16. It provides evidence-based parenting strategies to improve parenting skills, confidence & child behaviour. This means that the strategies in the program have been tested & found to work. Parents & caregivers may find this program helpful for managing challenging child behaviours such as tantrums, aggression, noncompliance, inattentive or hyperactive behaviour, sibling conflict, getting ready for school and/or bed as well as behaviours outside the home.
Panic Attack Program
The Panic Attack Program contains a range of resources designed to help you manage panic and agoraphobia. You will increase your understanding of panic attacks and panic disorder and learn the skills and strategies useful for managing panic. This course is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has been developed by psychologists and researchers. The program has 12 modules that you can do in your own time and have access to for 12 months.
Social Anxiety Program
The Social Anxiety Program has 12 modules that you can do in your own time and have access to for 12 months. It provides information about social anxiety & introduces skills & strategies that can help you to: identify & monitor the symptoms of social anxiety, learn relaxation & breathing techniques to reduce social anxiety symptoms, discover & challenge unhelpful thoughts, boost your wellbeing by making lifestyle change, face feared social situations using exposure therapy & plan to maintain your mental health gains after the course.
Generalized Anxiety Program
This program is designed to help you learn skills and strategies to better manage anxiety & worry & improve your quality of life. The GAD program includes information, videos, exercises & optional support from a therapist via email, chat or video. It provides information to help you: understand & identify anxiety and worry, monitor & reduce specific anxiety symptoms, gain control of physical reactions, identify and replace unhelpful beliefs & ways of thinking, learn problem-solving techniques & make lifestyle changes to improve your wellbeing.
Reduce Your Use Program
This is a fully self-guided online cannabis treatment program. While the program is fully automated it is also highly personalised, containing several treatment options selected by the user. The program can be used in text mode, or in video mode for users who prefer a stronger feel of human involvement. The program contains six core modules, informed by the principles of cognitive behavioural therapy & motivational enhancement therapy. These are: Feedback & Building Motivation; Managing Smoking Urges & Withdrawal; Changing your Thinking; Coping Strategies & Skill Enhancement; Activities & Interpersonal Skills and Relapse Prevention & Lifestyle Changes.
Divorce & Separation Program
The Divorce and Separation Program is an interactive self-help program developed by the Australian National University, which you can access anonymously & work through at your own pace. It provides evidence-based information, self-help tools & toolkits.
Healthy Lifestyle Program
The Healthy Lifestyle Program provides you with the skills and information you need to make informed decisions about nutrition, exercise and stress so that you can make sustainable positive changes in your life. It is personalised to you – so it works to help you overcome the unique barriers in your life. The program is based on the Australian Dietary Guidelines and Australia’s Physical Activity and Sedentary Behaviour Guidelines for Adults.
Supporting Others Program
The Supporting Others Program is a free online program for people who are supporting someone with a mental illness. In the program, family and friends work out how they can help the person and look after themselves as well. The program uses methods that have been shown in research to be helpful. The program helps you to think about different ways of looking at things and ways to work through issues you may be facing. It offers practical suggestions and future goal setting. The program is interactive and will ask you to enter information to help you apply ideas to your particular situation.
Community Trauma Toolkit
This toolkit contains resources to help and support adults and children before, during, and after a disaster or traumatic event. It will help you understand some of the impacts of disaster and how you can help lessen these impacts. Emergencies and disasters are extremely stressful, and it is normal to feel overwhelmed. These resources provide a starting point for you to help children navigate the different stages of a disaster.
The Wellbeing Course
The Wellbeing Course is our free online and internet-based treatment course designed to teach people about anxiety and depression as well as how to manage their symptoms. Anxiety and depression are common and can have a very significant impact. Because depression and anxiety commonly occur at the same time it is important to provide information about managing each condition in the same treatment course. The Wellbeing Course is a transdiagnostic treatment course designed to treat multiple conditions and types of symptoms at the same time, including- stress and anxiety, general anxiety and worry, social anxiety, panic and panic attacks, low mood and depression.
My Anxiety Plan
My Anxiety Plan (MAP) is free anxiety management program based on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT). CBT is an evidence-based psychological treatment that was developed through decades of scientific research and has been shown to be one of the most effective treatments for anxiety problems. MAP is designed to provide adults struggling with anxiety with practical strategies and tools to manage anxiety. MAP includes 6 easy to navigate units with 45 lessons.

Indigenous Wellbeing Course
The Indigenous Wellbeing Course is designed to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander adults aged 18 years and over to learn to manage mild, moderate and severe symptoms of depression and anxiety. It consists of five lessons over an eight-week period. You can choose to receive weekly therapist support or choose to contact us when you need to. The Indigenous Wellbeing Course aims to support you to gain better control over your symptoms by learning core skills that will improve your confidence, and help you get back to living a full and satisfying life.
Made-4-Me Program
The Made-4-Me Program is designed to help you manage one or more mental health issues or a cluster of symptoms at a time, including Depression, Generalized anxiety, Panic disorder, Post-traumatic stress, Social anxiety & Obsessive compulsive disorder. This course is based on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and has been developed by psychologists and researchers. Program has 11 modules that you can do in your own time and have access to for 12 months. Overall, the program will help you understand the symptoms you may have been experiencing across a range of mental health concerns. It will teach you strategies to improve your wellbeing and mental health.
Wellbeing Plus Course
The Wellbeing Plus Course helps adults aged 60 years and over learn to manage mild, moderate and severe symptoms of depression and anxiety. The Course consists of five lessons delivered over eight weeks. You can choose to receive weekly therapist support or choose to contact us when you need to. The Wellbeing Plus Course aims to support you to gain better control over your symptoms by learning core skills that will improve your confidence and quality of life.
NewAccess Program
NewAccess is a free confidential mental health coaching program for anyone who is feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed about everyday life issues, such as work, study, relationships, health or loneliness. It’s a structured six session program providing practical tools to manage everyday challenges supporting you to overcome difficult issues and regain confidence.
Mental Health & Me
An interactive online Mental Health Program for young people aged between 10 & 14 years. Using the power of lived experience combined with evidence-based practice the program informs & empowers everyone to sustain their mental health and well-being. Everything you wanted to know but didn’t know how to ask.
Mood Mechanic Course
The Mood Mechanic Course helps young adults aged 18–25 years break unhelpful habits and learn core skills to manage mild, moderate, or severe symptoms of depression and anxiety. The Course consists of five lessons delivered over eight weeks. You can choose to receive weekly therapist support or choose to contact us when you need to. The course aims to support you to gain better control over your symptoms, improve your confidence and learn skills to help you get the most out of life.
Sit Stand Program
Use the Sit Stand Program to estimate the time you spend sitting daily and learn what you can do to improve it. Research indicates that sitting for more than 4 hours each day can contribute to: Heart disease, Diabetes, Obesity, Back ache, Depression & Muscle degeneration. Regular minor movement while at work is essential for us to: keep our bodies healthy, prevent illness & relieve stress& make us more productive.
Activities for a Stronger Mental Wellbeing Program
Strong mental wellbeing gives you resilience in the face of life’s challenges and is something we can all benefit from. Fortunately, you can improve your mental wellbeing by making small changes to your daily routine. In this program you can build your personal mental wellbeing activity deck using a collection of daily activities you can do. You can use these activities as a tool to help you improve your mental wellbeing simply by selecting activities & then practise 2-3 of your chosen activities each day.
Family Connect
The Family Connect program provides families with a healthy emotional system to implement at home which supports listening, appreciation, emotional literacy and self-responsibility for the family. Uniquely, the whole family learns these skills together to support great relationships and good mental health outcomes. Family Connect is backed by evidence, research and a team of thought leaders in family wellness.
Family Checkin
Family Checkin is a quick online activity so you can see how your family is going with your social and emotional wellbeing. It helps you understand how you can strengthen the emotional system in your family to make it even more successful and setting your children up for good mental health.
Reach for Young People
Reach Out Next Step is an online tool that makes it easier for young people to navigate the range of available mental health services by recommending customised support options – online and offline – based on a person’s symptoms and how significantly the symptoms are affecting them. Recommendations range from immediate access to information and tools for self-care such as factsheets, apps and personal stories, to links to online chat or peer-to-peer forums or referrals to face-to-face and telephone support services. The tool can be accessed for free from any desktop, tablet or mobile device.
Counselling for Young People
eheadspace provides free online and telephone support and counselling to young people 12 – 25 and their families and friends. If you’re based in Australia and going through a tough time, eheadspace can help. We can help if you are feeling down, feeling stressed, being bullied, have concerns about drugs and alcohol, getting along with your family and friends, romantic relationships, questions about sex, questions about gender and who you are attracted to, getting advice about helping a friend and anything else you want to talk about
BRAVE for Children & Teenagers
BRAVE was developed for children and teenagers who experience Separation Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, Specific Phobia and Generalised Anxiety Disorder. This online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) program helps young people to learn new ways to manage their anxiety and fears. Young people complete one session per week over 10 weeks. It can help with social worries, anxiety about separating from loved ones, fears of specific objects or situations (e.g. dogs, needles, storms, darkness), worries about friendships, school performance or other everyday worries. BRAVE also has designated sessions for parents of children and teenagers respectively.
Kids Helpline
Kids Helpline Australia is a free, private and confidential 24/7 phone and online counselling service for young people aged 5 to 25. Australian kids and young people can turn to our professional, specialised counsellors, no matter who they are, where they live or what they want to talk about. For some young people, connecting with Kids Helpline has been a life-saving experience, while for others it’s about practical help and emotional support at the critical moment they need someone to listen.
SANE for Complex Mental Health Issues
SANE provides peer support, counselling, support, information and referrals to adults who identify as having a complex mental health issue, complex trauma or high levels of psychological distress. We also provide support to the family or friends who care about them. Parents Suffering Grief
Penthos offers a free 16-week evidenced based therapy for couples where at least one parent is suffering unremitting grief and relationship difficulties and where the loss has occurred 6 months or more ago. The confidential sessions are provided via Zoom by specially trained and experienced health professionals (psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, clinical social workers and couple therapists). The Program is offered to couples who have lost a pregnancy or child (up to age 25 years) through stillbirth, neonatal complications, illness, suicide or accident including road, work, drowning or drug overdose and whose relationship seems to be deteriorating at least 6 months after the loss. It can also be accessed by couples who have experienced unsuccessful IVF. Parents who have experienced the loss of a child years ago and are still experiencing unremitting grief are certainly eligible.

Contact a Coach
NewAccess is a free and confidential mental health coaching program for anyone who is feeling stressed or overwhelmed about everyday life issues. Find a coach in your area using the search option available in parts of ACT, NSW, QLD and VIC. Providers are continuing to offer coaching via video or audio call. Please be sure to check with your provider directly to find out what options are available. As usual you don’t need a doctor’s referral to access this service and you can make an appointment and talk to your coach from the comfort of your home.
Alcohol & Drug Counselling
Our counsellors are professionally qualified and trained to work across a wide range of alcohol and drug problems. We’ll ask you some questions about your situation and what you are going through. Using the information you give us, we’ll offer recommendations about your specific situation. We can also refer you to alcohol and drug treatment services throughout Victoria if necessary.

MindTrails is an evidence-based program designed to help people think differently about situations that make them feel anxious. The program is free as part of a study funded by the National Institute of Mental Health and has been completed by people of all racial and ethnic identities from many countries around the world. The program focuses on anxiety that people may experience regarding social situations, physical concerns, work, and COVID-19 (including populations with generalized anxiety, social anxiety, and panic disorder, and high anxiety that isn’t part of a disorder). We welcome all eligible adults to participate in MindTrails.
