An app developed to connect people experiencing violence or abuse to services in their local area. Downloaded for free from iTunes or Google Play. Once the app is on your phone, you can use it to search for support services in your local area. Choose the type of service you would like (for example ‘Legal services’ or ‘Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander services’) and select your state or territory to find services near you.

This App Australia’s new evidence-based treatment for depression during pregnancy & is a free online program designed to help women recover from antenatal depression.You will have access to six online sessions that can be personalized to fit your situation,access to an online library and optional partner support website.
Aboriginal Health
An app developed by the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation. It provides health information online or by phone and features a location-based service to find your nearest Aboriginal Community Controlled Health service.
Breathe2Relax
Breathe2Relax is designed to be a portable stress management tool that helps you to develop diaphragmatic (‘belly’) breathing techniques. The app provides step-by-step instructions for performing breathing exercises – and allows you to record and track your perceived stress levels over time.
Stress Gym
Stress Gym is based on a manualised CBT intervention for stress. It consists of 8 modules that you can work through at your own pace and includes information and interactive exercises. The modules focus on stress awareness, managing stress in relationships, problem solving, stress associated with health issues, and maladaptive responses to stress.
Depression During Pregnancy
The online program Daily Challenge encourages you to make small, health-related changes each day to improve your well-being. The program allows you to form ‘social connections’ with your friends and family, or other members, and follow other members’ activities. You can encourage, smile to and reply to other members.
Living Life To The Full
Living Life to the Full is a life skills course that provides key knowledge in how to develop skills to tackle feelings of low mood, stress and distress arising from work, relationships and other aspects of our lives. The course is based on the notion of “helping people to help themselves”. It provides easy access to cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) skills, allowing users to understand why they feel as they do, and to learn new ways of improving how they feel.

An evidence-based app designed to empower you to overcome feelings of depression & anxiety by discovering new & better ways of coping. The app gives you a tailored list of simple, quick, effective, evidence-based Missions to improve your mood. All Missions are taken from scientific research, made accessible to you through the app, so you can learn exactly how what you’re doing is helping.
Learn about you Mood
An app that helps you learn about your mood by transforming daily mood reports into a colourful summary of your emotional health. You will receive feedback on your mood each day, and the more you use the app, the more detailed this information will become – with flourishing scores after 1 week’s use, and depression/anxiety scores after 2 weeks of use.
Supporting Children
Parents are encouraged to view this free app as a tool to gain information about how their child is going across five areas of social and emotional wellbeing. After completing the check-up, parents are provided with a summary showing areas where things are going well and areas where they can take steps to strengthen their child’s resilience. It is recommended that parents choose one area to work on at a time.
Self-Help for Anxiety Management
Self-Help for Anxiety Management is a free app that provides people with instructions and activities for managing anxiety. Users can log in and trend their present level of anxiety, list things that make them anxious, read about activities for improving anxiety management, use tools (e.g. though recorder, breathing timer) for anxiety management, bookmark useful tools and approaches, and discuss anxiety management with other users.
