A pulse survey is a short confidential questionnaire used by organizations to gather real-time feedback from employees with surveys typically containing approximately ten questions designed to be completed in minutes to take a quick survey of employee sentiment, engagement and well-being. These short, focused questionnaires can help organizations spot issues early, track trends over time and evaluate the impact of workplace changes. This confidential assessment helps identify workplace factors that may affect psychological health, wellbeing and safety. Your feedback will help your organisation understand:

Domain 1 — Workload & Job Demands
Purpose: Identifies risks associated with excessive workload, unreasonable time pressure and unsustainable work demands.

Domain 2 — Job Control & Autonomy
Purpose: Measures employees’ ability to exercise appropriate control and influence over their work.

Domain 3 — Role Clarity & Work Design
Purpose: Identifies risks created by unclear expectations, conflicting priorities and poorly designed roles.

Purpose: Measures the quality of management support and leadership practices.

Domain 5 — Workplace Relationships & Respect
Purpose: Identifies risks associated with interpersonal conflict, bullying, harassment and poor workplace relationships.

Domain 6 — Fairness, Recognition & Organisational Justice
Purpose: Measures perceptions of fairness, consistency and recognition.

Domain 7 — Change & Organisational Stability
Purpose: Identifies psychosocial risks associated with poorly managed organisational change and uncertainty.

Domain 8 — Work-Life Boundaries & Work Environment
Purpose: Measures risks associated with work-life balance, flexibility, remote work and the work environment.

Domain 9 — Exposure to Trauma, Aggression & Harm
Purpose: Measures exposure to potentially traumatic, aggressive, violent or distressing work experiences.

Q27. I feel confident that my organisation responds effectively when employees experience harmful or traumatic events.
Domain 10 — Psychological Safety & Speaking Up
Purpose: Measures whether employees feel safe raising concerns and contributing to workplace improvements.
