EAP assist provided supportive service by phone, Mon to Sat, there are always timeslot to book online, my counsellor, Kerry is super professional, supportive which guided me to be open-minded, my mindset start to shift after the resources she provided. EAP Assist offers Australia’s most affordable Employee Assistance Program, with rates starting as low as $40 per hour — a fraction of what other providers charge ($200–$300 per hour). We don’t have any registration, management, or hidden fees, making our services completely transparent.

Our plans are tailored to your employee numbers, and unused hours carry forward into the next year (excluding the Starter Plan). Plus, we offer discounts for multi-year purchases. How EAP Assist Works

  1. Choose a Plan: Select the plan based on your workforce size and needs.
  2. Receive Access Code: We’ll provide your company with an Access Code for easy employee registration.
  3. Confidential Counselling: Employees book appointments with our experienced, qualified counsellors for support via phone.
  4. Ongoing Support: Counselling includes solution-focused models to resolve work and personal issues, ensuring employees remain focused and productive.

Save with Long-Term Plans:

  • Two years: 5% discount
  • Three years: 10% discount
  • Five years: 20% discount (1 year free)

Faq

Which Plan do I need

While there are a number of variables which may influence usage, such as critical incidents & workplace culture, the industry standard is the 10-5 Rule: 10% of employees will use the service 5 times annually.

What if I exceed my plan usage

We will advise you when your usage reaches 80% allowing you adequate time to upgrade your plan.

What if I don’t exceed my plan usage

Unused hours will carry forward if the employer chooses to purchase a plan of similar or higher value immediately upon or prior to the expiration of their current plan. (Carry forward does not apply to Starter Plan). Carry forward is applied once annually only.

Billing Hours

Counselling is billed in 30 minute intervals, not 60 minute intervals, to ensure that the maximum number of counselling sessions are delivered to employees. Most consultations, though, generally run for 50 – 60 minutes.

What about Quality Control

At the completion of each consultation the employee is emailed a Sessional Feedback Form asking them to rank their satisfaction with the support provided in order to ensure that valued services are constantly being delivered.

When can I access counselling

Employees may book appointments from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm Monday to Saturday on the Booking Form using their Access Code and company name. Booking hours are reflective of when employees use EAP services so employers are not paying for unnecessary services.

If you have an immediate concern about your safety or the safety of another you should contact a crisis line such as Lifeline on 131114 or the Suicide Call Back Service on 1300 659 467.

What about response time

All services are guaranteed to be delivered within 48 business hours or as requested by the client using the Booking Form. To speak with a counsellor immediately 24/7 while waiting for your scheduled appointment with your EAP Assist counsellor call 1300224636.

Where is the Access Code

Your company Access Code is not publicly displayed and can only be obtained from your employer once financially registered with our services.

Does EAP Assist refer to other support services

If it is felt that an employee will also benefit from other specialist services, such as Drug & Alcohol Rehabilitation, these recommendations will be made as promptly as possible. We always endeavour to use community-based services to ensure that the employee will receive a high level of support without costs.

What about family members

Support is also provided to immediate family members, including spouse/partner & teenage children, unless otherwise specified by the employer.

What about Not for Profit & Member Organizations

If you are a Not for Profit organization, or a sporting, recreational or other such organization and wish to support your volunteer’s or members’ mental health & well-being you may also choose to partner with EAP Assist. Members receive the exact same degree of high-quality support as do all employees.

What about reporting

Employers with Small, Medium & Large Plans may request usage reports quarterly, indicating total hours used, by forwarding an email with Usage Report in the subject line to: support@eapassist.com.au Starter Plan reporting is available annually. (Please note that as per the Privacy Act no information which may identify the user will be provided).
